A mixture of protein detergents which quickly dissolves and removes persistent cytoplasm (mainly caused by inadequate hypotonic treatment during the methanol:acetic acid fixation stage of the chromosome harvesting procedure).
Specifically, this product dissolves the main components of cytoplasm, namely its’ lipid and glycoprotein structure.
