Filtech Filter paper #1803 Qualitative
Grade 1803 is a thin paper with medium flow rate and is also excellent for paper chromatography. The smooth, uniform white surface provides good resolution. It can also be used as a gel drying support and as a spacer in capillary and electroblotting sandwiches.
Grade 1803 is an equivalent paper to Whatman #1 grade
Sizes availabale: 25mm - 610mm diameter, sheets are also available
Filtech Filter paper #1926 Qualitative
Grade 1926 offers finer particle retention and higher absorption than Grade 1803, but with slightly lower filtration speed. It is used in general laboratory applications to retain particles above 2um in size. It is also found in agricultural and environmental laboratories for plant growth trials, soil testing, air analysis for monitoring specific contaminants and in the filtration of organic and sulphide precipitates.
Sizes availabale: 25mm - 320mm diameter, sheets are also available
Filtech Filter paper #1893 Qualitative
Grade 1893 is used for the filtration of coarse particles and gelatinous precipitates such as ferric aluminium and magnesium hydroxides, in air monitoring and gas filtration when high flow rate is needed. It is is also found in routine cleanup analysis of insoluable liquids such as biological fluids and organic elements.
Sizes availabale: 25mm - 610mm diameter, sheets are also available
Filtech Filter paper #714 Qualitative
Filtech Grade 714 is a medium thick paper, recommended for general chromatography applications. It is also ideal for use as wicks in protein or nucleic acid blotting to provide a uniform flow of buffer through the gel to the transfer membrane in a blotting sandwich. It is suited for electrophoresis and the separation of inorganic compounds and for use in removing gels from glass supports.
This is the most widely used Filtech blotting paper. Available in circles and sheets
Glass Microfibre Filter Paper - #483
Grade 483 is a popular grade offering finer particle retention and higher flow rate than traditional analytical filter papers. It is used in general laboratory applications, cell harvesting, LSC (Liquid Scintillation Counting), and in the monitoring of air and water pollution. It is generally recommended for water pollution monitoring techniques for total suspended solids.
Glass Microfibre Filter Paper - #393
Grade 393 is a standard grade found in many environmental applications offering slightly more retention than Filtech Grade 333 with slightly lower filtration speed and loading capacity. Grade 393 is recommended for the collection of suspended solids in potable water and in industrial wastes. In biochemical tests, this grade is suited for cell harvesting, LSC (Liquid Scintillation Counting) and the analysis of carbohydrates. Equivalent to Whatman GF/C
Glass Microfibre Filter Paper - #333
Filtech Grade 333 offers fine particle retention with high filtration speed and good loading capacity. Widely used in general laboratory filtration including atmospheric and water pollution and monitoring such as intake controls, ozone-level, and water effluents. It is also well suited for filtration of water and protein, testing of algae, bacteria cultures and for radioimmunoassay with weak beta emitters. This grade is also recommended for filtering solvents in a high-resolution laboratory. Equivalent to Whatman GF/A
